AC motors with a phase rotor of the AK4 series are designed to drive mechanisms with severe start-up conditions and requiring speed control:
- for mechanisms whose torque does not depend on the rotation speed, the speed control is allowed in the range (1.0-0.8)nnom
- for mechanisms whose torque varies according to the fan characteristic, speed control is allowed in the range (1.0-0.5)nnom
The motors are designed to operate from an alternating current network with a frequency of 50 Hz and a voltage of 6000 V and 3000 V.
At the request of the customer, engines for other capacities, voltages and network frequencies can be manufactured on the basis of the above machines, taking into account the requirements of the contract.
Starting the engines from full mains voltage with starting resistances included in the rotor circuit using a control station.
The connection of the motors to the drive mechanism is carried out by means of an elastic coupling.
The engines have grease-lubricated rolling bearings.
Insulating materials of the stator and rotor windings of heat resistance class "F" with temperature use according to class "B". The insulation of the stator winding is thermosetting of the "Monolith2" type.
The stator winding has six terminal ends attached to four insulators in the terminal box.
The connection of the phases of the windings is a star.
The motors allow right and left direction of rotation. The change in the direction of rotation
is carried out only from a state of rest.
