Explosion-proof asynchronous electric motors AIMM, AIU series
Asynchronous explosion-proof motors with a short-circuited rotor are designed:
For operation from a three-phase alternating current network with a frequency of 50 Hz and 60 Hz to drive stationary machines in explosive industries of coal (AIU, VAIU engines), chemical, gas, and oil refining industries (AIM, AIMM engines).
The engines are manufactured:
For supplies to countries with a temperate (with a type of climatic version U2, 5) and tropical (with a type of climatic version T2, 5) climate. The AIM90 and AIMM 90 — 280 engines are also designed as OM2, B5 (for marine vessels).
The installation and connection dimensions of the engines are given in Table 33.
The binding of engine capacities to the installation and connection dimensions corresponds to RS3031-71.
Designed to work:
In S1 mode, it is allowed to operate the motors in S2, S3, S4 modes at one of the standard voltages from 220V to 660V.
In agreement with the manufacturer, motors powered by frequency-controlled converters can be manufactured.

The degree of protection of the engines:
IP54. At the request of the consumer, AIMM132-280 engines can be manufactured with an IP55 degree of protection. The heat resistance class of the insulation of the motors is "F". The engines of the AIU225,250, AIMM280-1 series are manufactured with a winding of rigid coils.
The engines are manufactured in the following versions according to the installation method according to GOST 2479:
on the paws — IM1081 (for AIMM280 — IM1001);
on paws with a flange — IM2081 (for AIMM280 — IM2001);
without paws with a flange — IM3081 (for AIMM, AIU225, 250 and AIMM 280 — IM3011).
By agreement, the motors can be manufactured with two shaft ends.
The terminal box of the AIMM90 — 112, AIU90 — 200 engines has three power through clamps, the AIMM132- 280, AIU225,250 engines have six power clamps.
AIUL asynchronous explosion-proof motors with a short-circuited rotor are designed:
For operation from a three-phase alternating current network with a frequency of 50 Hz to drive shaft winches of the LV-25, LV-25 type in explosive industries of the coal industry.
Type of climatic design: U2,5; T2,5. Marking of explosion protection of engines: RV ZV.
The degree of protection is IP54. Insulation heat resistance class “F". S4 operating mode.
Execution according to the installation method:
IM1081; IM2081;IM3081.
The terminal box of the AIUL engines has three power pass-through clamps.
The technical characteristics of the motors for a current frequency of 50 Hz are given in Tables 31 and 32.
The installation and connection dimensions of the motors with a rotation axis height of 90-200 mm are given in Table 33 and Figure 5.
The installation and connection dimensions of the motors with a rotation axis height of 225-280 mm are given in Table 34 and Figure 6.
The installation and connection dimensions of the VAIU112-200 engines correspond to the dimensions of the AIU112-200 engines.
